Bookmobile Service Returns To Guam

11 Oct

After an almost ten year absence, bookmobile service has began again for the small island nation of Guam. Forced to scale back many library services due to budgetary concerns, this revitalized service is a victory for literacy efforts on the island. The newly renovated and repaired bookmobile holds between 3,000 and 3,500 books, and there are hopes to add wireless computer access. Guam is an organized unincorporated territory of the United States, located in the North Pacific Ocean.
