Modified Librarians Group Launched on Photosharing Site

Prompted by Rochelle‘s creation of Librarians in Glasses group on the photo sharing site Flickr. The Modified Librarians group has been created.

The group hopes to follow in the footsteps of Gail Kwak’s classic librarian website The Modified Librarian. A site that celebrated body art among library staffers and challenged the notion of the librarian stereotype, but sadly has not been updated since 1999.

Users of Flickr are encouraged to join and post pictures. The suggested tags are librarian, tattoo, and/or bodymod. Library workers included, of course. Buns and glasses are, as always, optional.
